Chrono Tasker Currently in Development

June 20, 2016 Announcement
Chrono Tasker interface showing automated tasks and stopwatch features

I am excited to announce that a new comprehensive task automation and time management application, Chrono Tasker, is currently in development.

This program will be completely free. While the initial v1.0 release will focus on all modern Windows operating systems (Windows 7, 8, 10, and 11), the software is being built from the ground up with cross-platform compatibility in mind. Future updates will bring full native support for Linux Ubuntu, allowing users to seamlessly manage their time and automate tasks across different environments.

Features planned include:

  • Task Automation & Alarms: Set countdowns to trigger audio alerts, display custom desktop messages, or perform system-level actions (e.g., shutdown, restart, or log off). You can also configure it to run a specific program, execute a script, or open a designated website.
  • Precision Stopwatch: Manually track elapsed time for specific tasks or activities, complete with options to pause, resume, and stop the timer at any moment.
  • Advanced Scheduling: Schedule recurring alarms and automated timers over extended periods, providing a "set and forget" convenience.
  • Active Task Management: Easily view, modify the parameters of, or delete running and paused activities straight from the main dashboard.
  • Bilingual Interface: Full support for switching the user interface between English and Romanian.
